ICAD Gains FDA Clearance for PowerLook Tomo Detection

ICAD received FDA marketing clearance for its 3D tomosynthesis software, PowerLook Tomo Detection, available on the company’s PowerLook Breast Health Solutions platform.

ICAD’s initial 3D tomo product was designed specifically for GE’s 3D breast tomosynthesis machines, such as SenoClair and Senographe Pristina.

The software will be available in the market later in 2017. PowerLook Tomo Detection received CE Mark and Health Canada approval in 2016. — Cynthia Jessup
