Japan Green Lights Gore Excluder Iliac Branch Endoprosthesis

May 25, 2017

Gore has received approval from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare to market the Iliac Branch Endoprosthesis (IBE) and is currently in discussion regarding reimbursement for the Shonin region.

The IBE is an iliac branch solution indicated for the endovascular treatment of common iliac artery aneurysms or aortoiliac aneurysms.

Used in conjunction with the Gore Excluder AAA Endoprosthesis, the device preserves blood flow in the external and internal iliac arteries. — Cynthia Jessup
