FDA Announces Outsourcing Facility Fee Rates for Fiscal 2018

The FDA this week announced outsourcing facility fee rates for the next fiscal year, which begins October 1.

Under the announcement, the rate for small business establishments will be $5,364, with $17,364 for non-small business establishments and $16,093 for re-inspection fees. The rates will remain in effect through September 30, 2018.

The agency projects 12 entities will qualify for the small business exception and the accompanying smaller fee. It further projects 76 outsourcing facilities will pay the full re-inspection fee for total revenues of $1,223,068.
