Aussie Online GMP Clearance System to Go Dark for Upgrade

August 18, 2017

Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration is revising its online processing of applications for approval of domestic sales of drugs manufactured abroad, and any in-progress draft applications not fully completed by Sept. 18 will be erased from the system.

The new process should go live by Sept. 26. Between those dates, the system won’t accept applications for GMP clearances, required for overseas products.

The TGA said the new system should simplify data entry and fee payments.
