Philips Launches CardioMD IV for Cardiac Imaging

Philips launched the CardioMD IV cardiac imaging device that uses computed tomography to provide more flexibility in positioning without sacrificing image quality.

The CardioMD IV was designed to fit in existing single-photon emission computed tomography camera rooms without the need for major renovations, the company said.

The device is used with the company’s IntelliSpace Portal, enabling collaboration among cardiologists and referring physicians.
