UK Parliament Ponders Post-Brexit Future of Drug Regulation

A parliamentary committee is seeking information on how Brexit will affect drug and medical-device companies, health-care providers and regulators in the UK.

The House of Commons Health Committee is asking for comments and suggestions by Oct. 26. The UK is set to leave the European Union on March 29, 2019.

The EU’s central drug regulator, the European Medicines Agency, is based in London, and is surveying other EU cities in search of a site for relocation.
