FDA Approves Copaxone Generic, Mylan Says

The FDA has approved Mylan’s generic glatiramer acetate injection for treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis, the company announced.

The drug is copy of the branded medicine Copaxone, produced by Teva.

The approval extends to daily and thrice-weekly formulations, Mylan said.
