Eric Hargan Named Acting HHS Secretary

Chicago-based attorney Eric Hargan was appointed acting HHS secretary.

Hargan previously served in HHS from 2003 to 2007. He was confirmed by the Senate as deputy HHS secretary just last week.

Hargan replaces Tom Price, who resigned amidst a scandal over his use of charter flights costing taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
