South Africa Approves United Health Products’ HemoStyp Device

United Health Products has received regulatory approval to market its patented hemostatic gauze in the South Africa.

HemoStyp is indicated to be used for wounds that have breached the skin’s dermis or require the granulation forming at the base of the wound in order to heal.

Chronic extensive ulcerated wounds and severe burns are some of the applications for which it can be used, the company said.
