Mylan Launches Copaxone Generic Multiple Sclerosis Treatment in U.K.

Mylan launched the first generic version of Teva’s Copaxone in the U.K, Brabio (glatiramer acetate injection), for treating relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis.

The U.K. Court of Appeals recently shot down Teva’s appeal of the High Court of Justice’s decision to side with Mylan.

The company is expected to offer a lower price to the National Health Service for the generic.
