Topcon Medical Systems Wins FDA Nod for Imaging Device

Ophthalmic instrumentation developer Topcon Medical Systems received 510(k) clearance for its DRI OCT Triton Series.

The imaging device allows for “easy image capture and a 1 micron, 1050nm light source with a scanning speed of 100,000 A-scans/second,” the company said.

It features a built-in retinal camera for tracking eye movement while capturing selected scans.
