New York Attorney General Subpoenas Opioid Distributors

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has subpoenaed Cardinal Health and McKesson as part of an investigation into their sales and marketing practices.

Schneiderman is collaborating with attorneys general from other states including Connecticut and Tennessee on the investigation.

In the subpoenas, Schneiderman asked the distributors for company records and communications on opioid orders flagged as suspicious.
