Eurostars Develops AI Software to Detect Dementia Early On

The Eurostars project Brainiq has developed software that utilizes artificial intelligence to detect signs and progression of dementia through MRI scans.

Developed through a collaborative effort between Denmark’s Biomediq and the Netherlands’ Quantib and the Erasmus University Medical Centre, the software has been FDA certified and received a CE Mark.

The software is robust enough to be used in hospitals and clinics, adapting to different settings and varieties of MRI scanners, imaging processes and medical software.
