TGA Enters Work-Sharing Pilot With Health Canada

Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration has established a new chemical entity work-sharing pilot with Health Canada.

Under the program, the two regulatory bodies will collaborate on reviewing new chemical entity files to increase efficiency. The program is an initiative of the ACSS Consortium that includes Australia, Canada, Singapore and Switzerland and it could eventually include the other two nations.

The pilot follows an expansion of the ACSS’ generic drug work-sharing agreement earlier this year.
