Nova Biomedical Launches Hemoglobin and Hematocrit Meter

Nova Biomedical announced the launch of its CE marked StatStrip hemoglobin and hematocrit point of care meter system.

The device measures a patient’s hemoglobin and hematocrit for anemia screening and blood loss monitoring through electrochemical technology.

The meter uses a fingerstick capillary sample and can produce results in 40 seconds. It is designed for use in blood collection locations, dialysis centers, primary care clinics, oncology clinics and hospitals.
