Faxitron Cleared for Computed Tomography System

The FDA granted 510(k) clearance for Faxitron’s VisionCT computed tomography system,  which is designed for delivering 3D specimen radiography.

The device is designed to provide navigable, true 3D data and rendering of the specimen and traditional orthogonal images.

The VisionCT enhances a clinician’s assessments by automatically taking images of the specimen and constructing a 3D real-time render, reconstructing the specimen in up to 1024 slices.
