New EMA Headquarters in Amsterdam “On Track”

Construction of the European Medicines Association’s new headquarters in Amsterdam is “on track,” according to the agency.

The new building is projected to be completed by November 2019 but the agency expects to be operating from temporary offices in Amsterdam by March 30, 2019.

The construction follows the EMA’s vote in November 2017 to move the agency’s headquarters from London to Amsterdam because of the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union.
