Philips’ Ingenia MRI Solution Cleared by FDA

The FDA granted 510(k) marketing clearance to Philips’ Ingenia Elition magnetic resonance imaging system.

The device combines the company’s dStream digital broadband technology with Compressed SENSE and 3D amide proton transfer imaging to speed up exam time without compromising image quality.

The system uses artificial intelligence-based analytics to automatically plan, scan and process exams and assist the MRI workflow.
