Kent Imaging and SerenaGroup Team Up to Improve Wound Tissue Assessment

Kent Imaging and SerenaGroup announced a strategic partnership to develop techniques to assess tissue in wounds using one of Kent Imaging’s devices.

The device, the KD203, uses near infrared imaging technology to perform non-invasive to capture diagnostics about oxygenated blood availability in tissue.

The device measures oxygen saturation, relative oxyhemoglobin levels and relative deoxyhemoglobin levels in superficial tissue, using color-coded images to provide critical information about the tissue.
