Sen. Baldwin Asks Pfizer to Make Price Hike Delay Permanent

Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) urged Pfizer in a July 16 letter to make permanent its rollback of planned price hikes for more than 40 drugs.

Baldwin also asked why the company is not rolling back prices for other products that have seen price increases and she called for information on marketing and advertising expenditures.

The senator also asked if Pfizer will commit to making the deferrals permanent if the White House’s drug pricing blueprint does not take effect during this calendar year.
