FDA Awards Three New Cures Act Grants

The FDA awarded three grants under the 21st Century Cures Act for the study of continuous manufacturing of drugs and biologics.

The grants include $2 million to Rutgers University, almost $3 million to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and $982,869 to Georgia Institute of Technology.

The grants are part of the agency’s Emerging Technology Program, which aims to help the drug industry implement innovative technologies.
