FDA Extends Quality Metrics Site Visit Deadline

The FDA pushed back its proposed Aug. 28 deadline for companies interested in taking part in the agency’s quality metrics site visit program.

First announced on June 29, the program is designed to allow stakeholders the chance to tell CDER and CBER staff about the challenges of running a quality metrics program and to give agency staff firsthand experience.

The application deadline has been extended by 120 days.
