Iridex Gains FDA Clearance for Laser Accessory

The FDA cleared Iridex’ TruFocus LIO Premiere laser accessory for use with Iridex retina laser systems in the treatment of retinal diseases.

The accessory is worn on the physician’s head and combines a laser treatment beam from an Iridex laser system with an illumination beam. It can be used in a variety of settings on patients of all ages.

The portable device forms a mixed optical beam used by a physician with a handheld lens to view and treat their patient’s retinas.
