Captiva Spine Cleared for 3D Printed Lumbar Cages

The FDA granted 510(k) clearance to Captiva Spine’s 3D printed titanium lumbar interbody fusion cages.

The devices use an open architecture to reduce radiographic presence and improve imaging. They also allow for immediate bidirectional fixation.

The lumbar cage’s structure is similar to trabecular bone, using a micro-rough surface for clot retention and early cell migration.
