Motus GI Appoints Med Tech Industry Veteran as CEO

Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Motus GI has appointed Timothy Moran as its CEO, while Mark Pomeranz will assume the role of president and COO.

An industry veteran with experience in commercializing medical devices for hospitals, Moran joins the medical tech company from ConvaTec Group, where he served as president for the Americas since 2015.

He plans to focus on the company’s Pure-Vu System, calling it a “compelling new medical product opportunity” that could improve the colonoscopy process and save hospitals thousands of dollars per episode of care.
