NICE Plans to Retire Mobile Guidance App

NICE announced that it would scrap its mobile guidance software application on Dec. 31 and deliver the information via its improved website.

The app will no longer be available for download, NICE said, a decision it reached after conducting an internal review and finding that browsing, searching and navigating guidance would be easier on the website.

The agency said the website has seen a steady increase in traffic over the last three years compared to relatively stagnant activity on mobile devices. The content on the app will still be available until it is officially shut down, but users are encouraged to regularly update any content they access using it.
