United Exchange Warned for Inaccurate Listing Information
November 13, 2018
The FDA issued a warning letter to United Exchange, a Cerritos, California-based drug manufacturer for filing inaccurate ingredient information for the National Drug Code directory.
Specifically, the active ingredients in the product’s electronic listing file didn’t match the ones in the labeling, making the product misbranded for regulatory purposes.
The agency had previously pointed out the deficiency in a February letter to the company, but United Exchange did not respond. The company also failed to respond after receiving a data removal notification from the agency in March.
