FDA to Make Code for MyStudies App Public

The FDA said it will release the source code for its new MyStudies software application so researchers and developers can customize it.

The app was designed to ease input of real-world patient data to support clinical trials, observational studies and registries.

The software can be configured for several different therapeutic areas and health outcomes, and it supports auditing needed for compliance with federal regulations.
