NuVasive’s Corpectomy System Given Expanded Use

The FDA granted NuVasive’s Monolith corpectomy system the green light for expanded use.

The expansion allows the device to be used for procedures in the cervical spine for treating a vertebral body that’s been damaged or diseased by fractures, tumors or osteomyelitis.

The device can also be used to aid in the reconstruction process following procedures to relieve compression on the spinal cord and neural tissue in cervical degenerative disorders.
