Miach Orthopedics Appoints New President and CEO

Surgical implant developer Miach Orthopedics has named medical device industry veteran Martha Shadan as its new president and CEO.

Shadan served as global vice president of marketing for Smith & Nephew throughout most of 2018, after the company acquired Rotation Medical, for whom she served as president and CEO. Her work at the company helped lead to FDA approval and commercialization of Regeneten, an implant for rotator cuff tears.

Shadan previously served in senior leadership positions for Merck Millipore, BMS, Covidien and Zimmer.
