MIM Software Cleared for Molecular Radiotherapy Dosimetry

The FDA granted MIM Software 510(k) clearance for its MIM SurePlan molecular radiotherapy dosimetry software.

Molecular radiotherapy targets tumors based on certain receptors they express, attacking them with radiation by applying radiopharmaceuticals to molecular sites and receptors.

The imaging software allows for measurement of the absorbed dose from molecular radiotherapy for individual patients using single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) reconstruction.
