MediPines Receives FDA Clearance for Gas Exchange Monitor

The FDA granted MediPines 510(k) clearance for its gas exchange monitor, a non-invasive device that provides physicians with a patient’s real-time respiratory parameters.

The monitor gives point of care information on pulmonary gas exchange that could previously only be obtained through invasive procedures.

The single portable device provides critical measurements such as oxygen saturation, pulse rate, respiratory quotient and respiratory rate.
