Abiomed’s Impella Connect Earns CE Mark

Abiomed received the CE Mark for its Impella Connect, a cloud-based technology that enables physicians to remotely view the console of the Impella heart pump system.

The device allows medical professionals to view their hospital’s Impella consoles from remote locations in real-time as long as they are connected to the Internet.

Connect also offers around the clock, expert evaluation of Impella data and collaborative patient management from Abiomed’s clinical support center.
