Biom’Up Appoints New Chief Commercial Officer

Biom’Up, a collagen-based absorbable medical devicemaker, has selected George Makhoul as its chief commercial officer (CMO).

Makhoul has experience in commercializing medical products to surgeons and hospitals and has worked extensively in the U.S. hemostasis market.

In his new role at Biom’Up, Makhoul will supervise the company’s U.S. sales and marketing activities as its flagship product, Hemoblast Bellows, a hemostatic device that controls bleeding, gains market traction.
