Vertos’ Procedure for Treating LSS Earns CE Mark

Vertos received the CE Mark for its Mild device kit, used in outpatient procedures for treating lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS).

The procedure, performed using imaging technology and specialized tools, helps patients to walk farther and stand longer while experiencing less pain. During the procedure, the certified doctor clears space in the spinal canal and decreases nerve compression.

The Mild procedure is done through a small incision about the size of a baby aspirin and requires no stitches, general anesthesia or implants. Patients are usually able to return home on the same day.
