eNeura’s Migraine Treatment Device Gains FDA Clearance

February 28, 2019

eNeura received 510(k) clearance for its single-pulse transcranial magnetic stimulation device, which uses electric currents to treat and prevent migraines.

The portable non-invasive device, which is cleared for children 12 and older, delivers a mild electric current that modulates nerve cells in the brain and interrupts hyperactivity associated with migraine headaches.

The device is applied to the back of the head, and a button push delivers the focused magnetic pulse that treats migraine attacks and helps prevent future ones.
