EMA Shuts Down London Office for Move to Amsterdam

March 7, 2019

The European Medicines Agency has closed its London office after 24 years of operation and now heads to a new location in Amsterdam.

The new headquarters — located in the Zuidas district — is currently under construction and is projected to be finished in November 2019. Until then, the EMA’s new home will be in the Sloterdijk quarter’s Spark building.

The EMA’s move to Amsterdam means that its operating hours will switch to Central European Time starting March 11. Its business hours will be Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00, with switchboard hours Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 18:30.
