Butterfly Network Gains CE Mark for Handheld Ultrasound System

Butterfly Network’s Butterfly iQ, a handheld single-probe ultrasound platform, has earned the CE Mark.

The ultrasound system, which can provide diagnostic imaging of the patient’s entire body, includes a built-in battery and wireless charging capabilities to help it handle up to two continuous hours of scanning.

The device comes with an app for searching and organizing studies on the company’s cloud system, which enables device and data access from the web or a user’s smartphone.
