MHRA Updates Public List of Suspended Drug Manufacturers and Wholesalers

The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has released an updated list of suspended and revoked licenses and registrations for drugmakers and wholesalers.

The list is designed for any entity in the UK drug and medical supply chain to confirm that they are dealing with valid license and authorization holders. The MHRA may rescind a company’s license if safety issues are identified or if the license holder requires investigation.

Three companies were suspended by the agency so far this year—Pro-Health Pharmacy, AC InterTrade and Edwin C. Farrall—and their suspensions will lift in June, May and July, respectively. Only a single company, Riverside Limited, had its authorization revoked this year.
