Guerbet’s Microcatheters Obtain CE Mark

Guerbet’s SeQure and DraKon microcatheter devices have been cleared for marketing in the European Union for delivering intra-arterial therapy and embolic materials into veins and arteries not in the chest or abdomen.

The devices are intended for use in peripheral embolization procedures. The SeQure microcatheter has side slits that allow for the outflow of contrast media, making a fluid barrier around the device that assists delivery to the target vessel.

The DraKon microcatheter is almost identical to the SeQure device but has no side slits.
