Acutus Medical's AcQMap Mapping Software Earns CE Mark

Acutus Medical received the CE mark for its AcQMap contact mapping software for the company’s AcQMap platform.

AcQMap allows physicians to see the electrical activation pattern of the heart during electrophysiology procedures, providing high-resolution 3D images in real time.

Acutus says the software is compatible with its first and second generation AcQMap platforms and will be installed on all European systems in the third quarter of 2019.

The company also announced FDA clearance of its second generation AcQMap platform and said it will launch that system in the U.S. in the third quarter.
