Implandata Earns CE Mark for Eye Pressure Monitor

Implandata received the CE Mark for its EYEMATE system, an eye pressure measurement device that is used for patients receiving an artificial cornea.

The device detects increased intraocular pressure in patients, a common and serious post-surgical complication that can lead to failure of the procedure, secondary glaucoma and vision loss.

The system is implanted in patients at the same time as the cornea surgery, allowing for constant monitoring of intraocular eye pressure.
