NICE Offers Online Platform to Support Devices With ‘Measurable Benefits’

The UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has launched a new online tool to assist in the development of new devices and technologies that offer “measurable benefits” to patients.

The free HealthTech Connect tool allows developers to input data on their products in development and helps explain what UK decision makers require of them. It also clarifies potential pathways to market entry.

Product sponsors will be notified if their technology is a candidate for evaluation by a UK health technology assessment program.
