TGA Adds Eight New Ingredients to Approved List

The Therapeutic Goods Administration added eight new medicine ingredients to its approved list and tweaked the labelling requirements for some others.
The newly added ingredients are C11-13 alkane, cetearyl nonanoate, dimeticonol, disodium lauril sulfosuccinate, methyl heptanoate, polyglyceryl-2 caprate, polyquatermium-4 and resveratrol.
The agency also eased restrictions on labelling for Brilliant Blue FCF, neopentyl glycol dioctanoate, polyvinyl acetate and streptococcus salivarius.
