FDA Greenlights Masimo’s Tetherless Pulse Oximetry Monitor

Masimo’s Radius PPG, a wireless monitor that measures a patient’s blood oxygen level, has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA.

The device continuously monitors the level of oxygen in a patient’s blood and displays the results by wireless connection on Masimo host devices or third-party monitors.

The Radius PPG allows patients to move freely without interrupting their monitoring and easily connects with multiple devices, enabling easy transitions between care areas.
