Gottlieb Heads Back to Venture Capital Firm to Advise on Healthcare 

Former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb is returning to his old venture capital firm, New Enterprise Associates, taking on a new role as a special partner with the group’s healthcare investment team.

Gottlieb was previously a venture partner with NEA from 2007 to 2017 before becoming FDA Commissioner.

Working out of the firm’s Chevy Chase, Maryland office, Gottlieb will be involved as a full-time active investor across all the firm’s healthcare activities, with a focus on biopharmaceutical and healthcare services.
