Cerapedics Appoints New Vice President of Clinical and Market Development

Orthobiologics firm Cerapedics has named Patrick O’Connor as its new vice president of clinical and market development.

O’Connor has worked in the medical instrument and surgical fields for more than 15 years. He previously served as Spinal Kinetics’ director of market development and handled product management for Zimmer Spine.

Cerapedics is currently holding clinical trials of its i-Factor Peptide Enhanced Bone Graft product for transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion surgery. It is the only biologic bone graft in the orthopedics field that uses a small peptide as an attachment factor to promote bone healing.
