FDA Clears nView Medical’s Imaging System

The FDA has cleared nView Medical’s imaging technology, the nView s1 platform that produces 3D visualization for use during spinal and orthopedic procedures.

The fluoroscopic and tomographic imaging system can be used intraoperatively to visualize procedures and after surgery to analyze its quality. It produces fluoroscopic and multiplanar views using a combination of low-dose x-ray imaging and imaging algorithms.

“The future of surgery will be enabled by automation and quantification. nView s1 is our first step in that direction” said Cristian Atria, nView Medical founder and CEO.
