Motus GI Grabs European Patent for Colon Cleansing System

Motus GI has been awarded a European patent for its Pure-Vu System, a device indicated to clean the colon during colonoscopies.

The patent, titled “Colon Cleaning Devices and Methods,” was awarded to the Fort Lauderdale, Fla. company by the European Patent Office. Motus called the patent “particularly important” for its future expansion into European markets.

The device works with standard and slim colonoscopes for safe, fast cleaning during a colonoscopy without interrupting the procedure.
