FDA Posts FY 2020 Outsourcing Facility Fees

The FDA Wednesday issued its fiscal 2020 rates for drug compounders that register with the agency as outsourcing facilities.

Outsourcing facilities whose total global annual sales totaled over $1 million by April 1 of FY 2019 are not seen as small businesses by the FDA and must pay the $18,288 non-small business establishment fee.

Those that made $1 million or less by that date qualify as small businesses and may pay the $5,599 establishment fee. Regardless of their size, all outsourcing facilities must pay the $16,798 reinspection fee.
